By the time I arrived at school, it was dinner time and many students were walking along the sidewalk.

Most of them were in groups, talking and laughing, but when I passed by them, they would suddenly fall silent and turn to whisper with their companions.

The last time I was here, things weren't this weird.

When I opened the door, I saw Flora hang up the phone in a hurry.

"What happened? Did you fight with someone? It sounded intense," I asked lightheartedly.

Flora walked over and greeted me with a wry smile.

"No, it was nothing.I was just testing my volume."

"Testing your volume'?"
