Outside the CEO’s office, Sabina carried a stack of documents and saw another assistant, Kally, hesitating at the door, looking troubled. “Kally!”

Kally turned, frowning, “These are documents for M Country’s branch needing his signature. Last time, Mr. Laird got scolded by Mr. Lamont because of this, and now he’s dumped the task on me. I’m afraid to go in and get yelled at too. You know Mr. Lamont’s been in a bad mood lately.”
