Estelle sat on the playground for a while before finally biking home when it was getting dark

When she got home, Old Wade had already started turning on the lights.

Her grandpa was waiting for her to have dinner, and there were all her favorite dishes on the table

Neither she nor her brother had parents, and their grandpa wasn’t as attentive to them as parents would be. He was even more indulgent about their growth, but he would always remember their likes and dislikes clearly.
