Chapter 339 Filthy Human Nature
No one had expected Bob to accept someone else’s money and break his leg on purpose! This was too cruel!
Everyone looked at him in a strange sight.
It seemed that in response to the scene, the sunny sky suddenly rained heavily, but the onlookers who blocked the door
were not affected by the heavy rain at all. All of them stared covetously at Bob and his family, wishing to hear some
legendary stories from them.
However, Charlotte and Trevor did not give them the chance. They just gave them a faint look, then Frank and Trevor
quickly invited those onlookers out.
For a moment, only Bob and his family were left in the room.
The Holmes family seemed to be worried that Trevor would really do something to them. They hid behind Bob and looked
at Trevor nervously.

Charlotte didn’t expect Trevor to be so useful, so she simply sat aside and let him do whatever he wanted.
Trevor looked at the whole family coldly, “Tell me, what’s going on? Do you want me to interrogate you personally?”
Trevor’s expression was extremely impatient. At this time, there was a muffled thunder outside the window, which scared
them so much that they immediately shivered. They didn’t dare to hide anything and rushed to tell the truth, for fear that
they would be beaten by Trevor if they spoke too slowly.
On the afternoon of the opening ceremony, a man came to Bob with a box of money, saying that as long as he did as they
asked, he could get the money.
Bob and his family were still fretting over how to deal with the situation, so they readily agreed.
Enter title…
Not long after, the man made a request to Bob, and let him pretend to encounter a ghost and fall down from the
scaffolding.
It would be best to break his hands or legs.
Bob was shocked. Before he could refuse, the other party had warned him that if he breached the contract, he would have
to pay ten times the amount of compensation. Bob had no choice but to do as he was told.
“Do you remember what that man looked like?” Charlotte frowned. They all guessed that it was Cowper who it did, but
there was no evidence to prove it.
Bob shook his head. “That man wore a mask and sunglasses both times. How could I recognize him?”
Of course, even if he could recognize it, he would not admit it.
Trevor narrowed his eyes. He still wanted to say something but was stopped by Charlotte.
“Are you sure you’re not hiding anything?” Charlotte looked at Bob solemnly.
