Chapter 574 A Necklace Worth $200 Million
If Charlotte exuded an air of nobility and elegance with her dress, then Sandra radiated a charming and alluring aura,
equally capturing the attention of many.
It’s often said that the worst nightmare at a banquet is showing up in the same outfit, but whether it was Charlotte or
Sandra, neither intended to change their clothes. This left the host’s expression in an awkward state.
After a few awkward chuckles, the host quickly ushered them in.
Sandra’s gaze shifted towards Joe.
The man exuded an overwhelmingly powerful aura to the extent that even without saying a word, he compelled
subconscious deference. Yet, even with this powerful man, his focused and affectionate gaze remained fixed on Charlotte.
Sandra playfully curled her lips; only men like him could ignite the desire for conquest.
Isn’t that right?
She walked over gracefully, her charming smile lifting, “Mr. Smith…”

But soon, her smile froze on her face.
She saw Joe slightly turn to say something to Charlotte, and then his gaze naturally swept past Sandra before he
temporarily left the venue.
Sandra raised an eyebrow, “It seems you really have remarkable tactics, Miss Clinton. You managed to make Mr. Smith
so wholeheartedly devoted to you that he doesn’t even dare to look at others.”
Charlotte’s smile remained faint, “Miss Faulkner, you are overestimating me. I don’t have that kind of ability.”
Hitting a bit of a snag, Sandra didn’t press further on the topic of Joe.
Enter title…
She looked inquisitive, mentioning the Faulkner Family for the first time in front of Charlotte, “I heard that your mother
passed away early and accidentally entrusted you to a treacherous couple. Why didn’t she entrust you to your father at
that time, Miss Clinton?”
Her topic seemed quite casual, to the point where even the Faulkner Family hadn’t been mentioned in her words, yet it
oddly conveyed an air of probing.
Charlotte smiled, and a chilly gleam in her eyes, “I’m not sure either. Perhaps it would be better to ask the parties involved
about such matters?”
Judy had passed away years ago. How could she possibly ask the parties involved? Sandra looked at Charlotte with a
cold expression.
Perhaps sensing the atmosphere between them wasn’t right, Mr. Bulwer walked over with a champagne glass to ease the
tension, “Miss Clinton, Miss Faulkner, you know each other? It’s quite a coincidence. Miss Faulkner, you recently acquired
the land where the resort hotel used to be and are in the process of redeveloping it. It might become a good place for
business discussions in the future.”
