Chapter 777 Revelations in Deep Hypnosis
Before Charlotte could ask, Smollett voluntarily explained, “This watch was
left to me by my father, who hoped that I would follow in his footsteps and
become an excellent psychologist.”
“Your father?” This was the first time Charlotte had heard the word “father”
from Smollett’s mouth, so she casually asked.
Smollett’s expression shifted slightly as if the word “father” wasn’t a pleasant
term for him.
He had no intention of continuing, he just took a quick glance at the watch,
then placed it next to her ear.
The unique ticking sound of the pocket watch rang out, and it seemed as if
Charlotte was led into a rhythm, beginning to recall memories ticking away in

her mind.
Seeing Charlotte’s gaze turn to the pocket watch, Smollett subtly pulled a

small syringe out of his bag and hid it in his sleeve.
After doing all this, he naturally turned around, walked to the front of her bed,
and faced her.
“Next, I will say some words to you. You can try to keep up with my thoughts
as much as possible, the deeper and more you think, the better.”
Charlotte nodded, and soon he began to say some incoherent words to
Charlotte, his back facing the window.
At first, Charlotte was able to keep up with his pace, but gradually her
thoughts began to drift, her eyelids grew heavier and heavier, and her
consciousness began to scatter.
Watching the drowsy Charlotte, a cold glint flashed in Smollett’s eyes as he
subtly extended the syringe from his sleeve.
The silvery needle touched Charlotte’s skin, causing her to flinch and frown
slightly.
Smollett silently sneered, ready to inject her.
But just then, Morgan quietly opened the door to the room and walked in.
Seeing Charlotte about to fall asleep, Morgan opened her phone’s memo app
and typed a question: How is her hypnosis going?
Smollett nodded, indicating that he was about to start.
Knowing that this was a rare opportunity, Morgan quickly approached to
watch closely.
