Fled With CEO’s Twin Babies

As Charlotte stopped Max who was coming out from the kitchen, she asked in
confusion, “Why are you acting weird today?”
Max was stunned and quickly shook his head. “Maybe our tasks are
progressing slowly, so they are envious of you.”
Charlotte was speechless.
What a ridiculous reason!
But no matter how Charlotte asked, Max insisted that this was the case.
Except for looking at her with strange eyes, they didn’t do anything else, so
Charlotte didn’t care about it anymore.
The next day, the director team sent the second task card to them.

“How can you attend a ball without a pair of beautiful glass slippers? Please
complete the task and find your own shoemaker.”

After reading the task, Charlotte breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, the
program team didn’t ask them to make shoes by themselves but arranged a
shoemaker for them.
The task was not difficult. They needed to go through the maze and find the
rhinestones and the shoemaker’s address hidden in it, and then they could
find the shoemaker.
Charlotte and Joe finished the task very fast. It only took five minutes to get
the shoemaker’s address and a box of rhinestones and other decorations.
However…
Charlotte glanced at the rhinestones in the box suspiciously. Under the
sunlight, they shone brightly and didn’t look like ordinary rhinestones.
“Are these really rhinestones? Why do they look like diamonds?” Charlotte
handed the box to Joe. Taking a glance at the box, Joe said, “Maybe they
have upgraded the technology. The program team wouldn’t be so generous
and use real diamonds.”
Charlotte thought Joe’s words made sense. If they were diamonds, it would
cost at least several million dollars. Jerome would never be so generous.
Following the address on the note, they successfully found the shoemaker.
The shoemaker’s name was Rick, and he was a gray-haired and energetic
old man. Seeing Charlotte and Joe, he greeted them in a vague and ethereal
tone, “You are here. My successor…”
Charlotte was surprised. She wondered if they were at the filming set of some
mythical movie.
