Chapter 1023 The Murderer

Entering the room, Lena almost everyone subconsciously stopped talking and
turned their attention to her.
Lena glanced around, puzzled. “What are you all doing?”
Kenneth quickly explained, “We were discussing the attack that Kenny
experienced.”
“An attack?” Lena furrowed her brows. “The school’s security has always
been quite good. How could there suddenly be an attack?”
All the classmates exchanged glances, equally eager to know the answer to
this question.
Fortunately, Lena was just asking casually. She seemed deep in thought, her
brows furrowed tightly.
Kenneth looked at her inquisitively. “Do you have any clues?”
Lena shook her head, her expression gradually returning to its usual
coldness. “I was just wondering who Kenny actually is.”
At her words, everyone gasped sharply, and Gideon looked somehow

amused.
“You don’t know Kenny?” Kenneth asked in shock, “He spoke ill of you in the
drafting room yesterday.”
Had it not been for Gideon’s intervention, Kenny might have gone even
further.
Initially, everyone thought Lena would retort angrily, but her reaction was
unexpectedly indifferent. “There are too many people like that. Unfortunately, I
still don’t remember him.”
Hearing her words, Kenneth gave her a complicated look.
If Kenny knew that the person he had gone to great lengths to belittle didn’t

Lena looked at the person in surprise. “Why is it you?”
“Do you remember me?” Willington was also somewhat surprised. He hadn’t
expected Lena to remember him.
Lena nodded. “I seem to run into you quite often.”
Willington was happy, and he pushed the box of bread a little closer to Lena.
“I bought these on my way here. I don’t know if you’ve had breakfast yet…”
Lena’s eyes moved from the bread to Willington, not missing the nervousness
on his face and the slight redness of his ears.
