After making amends with Lenora by promising her two new pairs of shoes, we focus on work. In the last week, Lenora had brought in four large international contracts she had been working on for months. I know my team can do it without me, but I welcome the distraction.

In my free time, I’m in my library drowning in research. The more I research, the more I feel like a speciesist a*shole. For

years, I let myself believe in preconceived notions about other paranormal species that simply weren’t true. I never questioned what I had been told by the people around me. It’s eye opening and humbling to learn the facts. It makes me realize I need to change my ways and I need to do a better job at educating my pack.
