Callahan was staring daggers at Sid, who was twitching uncontrollably on the floor. I pulled the coat even closer to myself as Sid began trying to answer Callahan’s questions.

The sheer tone with which he uttered that question spoke volumes about his self-confidence. He could not believe someone could try that and found it absurd.
