Yvonne felt touched, knowing that Veronica had done everything for her sake. The two of them sat in the living room and chatted for a bit, but Yvonne was out of it. When she noticed that it was already close to eight, her eyes lit up as she thought of a plan. “Roni, I won’t ask you to stay the night here since I want to sleep with the baby.
