“Mommy! Mommy! Wake up! Look where we are! Mommy!”

“Of course your head will ache. You didn’t have anything for so long and went to cook. Now look at what happened.” Suzanne said in a stern tone as she suddenly came out of nowhere with a tray filled with food.

“Suzy? What’s going on? Where are we and what happened to me?” She asked in confusion as she tried to remember things but her mind hit blank space at that moment. 

“You lost consciousness. Now we will talk later, first have this food.” Suzanne ordered as she pushed the tray toward her.

“Did Ace have the soup?” Athena asked before taking it. Even though there were too many foods which she won’t be able to finish normally, at that moment she was too hungry.

“Yes, he did. Now can you please stop talking and have food?! Ace, baby, please come to aunt Suzy.” Suzanne said as she forwarded her hands to take him. Ace jumped to her arms and Athena started eating.

“Thank you so much, Suzy.” Athena thanked as she put the first morsel in her mouth and immediately let out a moan in relaxation. She was really hungry.

“Athena, wait a second. I didn’t notice it before.” Suzanne looked at Athena’s face with squinted eyes, trying to take a good look at something. Athena frowned at her.

 “What is it? Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face? Food?” Athena asked as she tried to look down at her own face which wasn’t really useful at all. So, at last she waited for Suzanne to answer her. 

“What happened to your lips?! Why is it swollen? And… It has a cut as well!” She asked in worry as she looked at Athena with a frown, waiting for her to answer. 

Athena’s eyes widened as she quickly raised her hand to touch her lips and immediately let out a hiss in pain. It was cut badly for sure. She remembered how she got it and her blood boiled. She cursed her slow healing ability. Now what is she going to say to Suzanne? She quickly tried to look for an excuse.

“Oh, this…. When I was feeling dizzy, I slipped my balance and fell somewhere. And that’s how I got the cut.” Athena said with a small smile but she didn’t look at Suzanne while saying so. Suzanne believed her without any second word because she never lies, Athena felt guilty for lying but she obviously couldn’t tell her the truth. 

“Mommy, look where we are! This house is so big and so beautiful! I love it so much!”
