Chapter 326 Nate's house looked like an organized battlefield, cardboard boxes scattered across the living room floor and carefully sorted piles of clothes, books, and personal items covering nearly every available surface. I was sitting in the middle of the chaos, helping organize his impressive collection of business books and biographies, when I realized the problem I'd been avoiding had become impossible to ignore. "Nate," I called out, glancing around the spacious room that had turned into a temporary moving warehouse.

"I think we have a bit of a problem." He emerged from the office carrying a stack of folders and important documents, his hair slightly mussed from the effort of organizing years of professional and personal life. The domestic sight of him made me smile despite my growing concern about the logistics of the move. "What kind of problem?" he asked, carefully setting the documents into a box labeled Office. "The kind where not all of this is going to fit in the new house," I replied, gesturing at the absurd volume of belongings he'd managed to accumulate over the years.

"You're going to have to make some tough choices about what comes with you and what stays behind." Nate stopped what he was doing and looked at me with a smile I immediately recognized as dangerously charming. He walked over to where I was sitting on the floor, crouched down, and gently pulled me to my feet, his hands finding the curve of my waist like they belonged there. "I already made the best choice," he said, kissing me with a tenderness that sent my heart racing. His lips against mine carried all the certainty and love I could possibly want.

"The master suite bathtub." Nate burst out laughing, the sound echoing through the house. His green eyes sparkled with amusement as he shook his head, like he should have known exactly what my answer would be. "I should've known you'd pick the bathtub in the end," he said, still chuckling.

It was while I was organizing a shelf filled with books on economics and business strategy that I stumbled across a few surprises that made me pause and smile. "Look at this," I said, holding up a well-kept copy of The Brooding Gentleman by J.

"Are you going to rent it out once we move?" "I'm leaving it furnished," he said casually, sliding the framed picture into a larger box. "That solves the problem of extra furniture and... maybe Tori will get some use out of it." "This huge house all to herself?" I asked, trying to picture Tori alone in a place that felt too
