Upon seeing Evadne, the previously feeble Hamiltion instantly perked up, his eyes lighting up.
“Ilana! Come here! Sit next to me!”

She hoped that I could give it to my approved granddaughter-in-law. She’s gone now, and I want to give it to my favorite Ilana. Only you’re worthy of such a fine thing.”
“Mr. Hamiltion, I can’t, this is too precious. Besides, I’m no longer…” Evadne nervously declined.
“Even if you and Thaddeus aren’t together anymore, you’re still the only granddaughter-in-law I approve of!”
