Glynnis and her mother were both shocked stiff, one forgetting their anger and the other forgetting their tears.
“Thaddeus! You’re defying me!” Frederic was furious, his blood pressure starting to climb.
This unloved illegitimate son, who had seldom resisted him from childhood to adulthood, was now a CEO, becoming more independent, and dared to say “no” to him?!

Thaddeus smirked, his eyes so gloomy it was frightening. “Dad, is that how you negotiate in business, slapping people first, then making demands?”
“What… are you saying?” Frederic was taken aback.
“Even though we are father and son, we should still deal fairly. Especially in matters involving company interests, there can be no compromise. I can’t divorce llana now, because I promised my grandfather that I would wait until after his eightieth birthday to officially divorce. I can’t go back on my word. About the negative news online, my solution is to have Glynnis apologize publicly, and other than that, I won’t do anything.”
“Thaddeus! How could you…!” Frederic’s eyes turned red, and he raised his hand, but just as he was about to move his hand down for a slap, it was firmly grabbed by Thaddeus.

Gordon’s eyes flickered, but he still handed the prepared documents to Frederic.
“What is this?”
“This is the financial report for this and last year of Moonlit Treasures, run by Elspeth and Glynnis.” Thaddeus’ expression was cold, and his voice was calm.
Elspeth and Glynnis looked tense and rigid.
“The report shows that Moonlit Treasures has been in business for three years, losing nearly ten million each year, and the operating expenses each year are taken from the company’s public funds. Moonlit Treasures was decided to be managed by Elspeth from the start, and since the company doesn’t get a share of the profits, there’s no reason for the company to fill this pit.”
