“Cut the crap. Do you even believe your own words?” A mocking smile formed on Evadne’s lips, completely disregarding Thaddeus.

She was disgusted by this man, who had been entangled with a gold–digging woman before. Now that the gold–digger was out of the picture, he was attempting to make a comeback. His presence alone felt like a stain on their place.
