Jeremy didn't reply. Vincent looked in his direction and seemed to realize something was wrong. He turned to the left and finally saw the woman sitting nearby.

Elisa nodded her head as a greeting gesture.

Vincent regarded her with suspicion. Why would Elisa be here?

The people we found earlier were all patients with stage four cancer. We didn't want to harm anyone, so we specifically selected patients with few days left to live. After we examined them, we found that the data showed improvements, and their pain was lessened, giving them more time to live. What happens after still requires continuous checkups."

"Is it true?" Vincent was in disbelief. Yet again, he took a suspicious glance at Elisa, who was sitting at the side quietly. "Were you the one to discover this drug?" Unable to suppress his doubt, Vincent turned his gaze to Jeremy and questioned him.

Jeremy smiled wryly and said, "How could I have such capability?"

His answer dumbfounded Vincent.

He did not say a word while waiting for Jeremy to explain further.

However, Jeremy suddenly became quiet. Once he gained his composure, he answered thoughtfully, "Just wait and see. You will know soon."
