Jonathan crashed into the snow with a loud thud. Fortunately for him, the snow was thick enough to cushion his fall, so he did not sustain any serious injuries. Even so, the fall still left him feeling a little dazed.

After taking a moment to sit up straight, Jonathan tried to recall what happened.

After squinting his eyes and staring into the distance, he finally spotted some movement about a hundred meters away.

“Yeverie? Hey, Yeverie!” he called out to her while gently patting her on the cheek.
