I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 458 Dragon Blood

Jonathan's mind was blown away by the overwhelming revelation.

It was none other than the Divine Emperor.

The mystery behind the sealing of the dragons was unraveled, and the one responsible turned out to be the Divine Emperor. Within a mere three days, he had harmoniously melded the magic elements with his own mana, displaying his unparalleled talent. He was the embodiment of a true Divine Master, an invincible being across dimensions and realms.

Jonathan found himself captivated by the Divine Emperor's prowess.

The Divine Emperor, the Emperor of Chanaea, the Asura Emperor, and even the Demon Emperor stood as the contemporary models of excellence. If I could ascend to their heights someday, I would find solace even in death.

Torrence was oblivious to this as he didn't know the Divine Emperor at all. “To think there are enlightened individuals of such caliber in this world! The vastness of this realm conceals countless hidden talents, surpassing anyone's imagination. While Theos possesses great strength, she pales in comparison to the other more extraordinary individuals dwelling in this realm. As for beings like me, we're as insignificant as ants. It's laughable how highly I once regarded myself. Nevertheless, this Divine Emperor, whoever he is, is rather domineering despite his powers.”

“Divine Emperor!” Jonathan's lips curled into a wry smile. “I know the Divine Emperor. In our main world, he founded the Divine Realm and became a true wonder. Before he came about, ordinary folk in the main world couldn't fathom the existence of mana within human beings. Mana and immortals were merely figments of folklore. However, once he came into existence, the path to divine cultivation became clear. He stands as a monumental figure and is a true luminary.”

Just as the Wright brothers invented the airplane, ushering in a new era and opening Pandora's box, the Divine Emperor had unlocked the mystical secrets of human cultivation.

Prior to his time, divine spirits and Divine Masters like Wretched and Leahra existed, but they were mystical creatures nurtured by the essence of nature. Their cultivation paths remained inscrutable to outsiders.

The greatness of the Divine Emperor lay in his establishment of a systematic approach to divine cultivation.

He had forged the path to divine cultivation, setting him apart from beings like Leahra and others.

Clarissa looked at Jonathan, a hint of disbelief in her eyes. “I didn't expect you to be aware of the Divine Emperor's existence. Have you ever crossed paths with him?”

Jonathan didn't want to deceive her, so he said, “I'm actually a disciple of the Divine Realm and can be considered a disciple of the Divine Emperor, but I've never met him in person.”

The color drained from Clarissa's face, and her astonishment was evident as she uttered, “You're his disciple?”

Jonathan quickly clarified, “The Divine Realm is a massive sect, and I am part of it. I suppose I can be considered a disciple of the Divine Emperor. Ms. Clarissa, do you regret imparting these magical arts to me?”

Clarissa's gaze reflected a myriad of emotions as she replied, “Not really. Regardless of your status and identity, I believe in your unwavering integrity. It is on this basis that I entrust you with everything.”

Jonathan heaved a sigh of relief and assured her, “I could have chosen to remain silent, but Ms. Clarissa, as your primordial spirit nears its dispersal, I cannot bear to deceive you in any manner. Rest assured that I solemnly pledge to fulfill your wishes to the best of my abilities.”

Clarissa glanced at Jonathan, nodding appreciatively. “I believe in you. Being banned by the Divine Emperor is a great shame for the dragon clan. Today, I pass on my knowledge to you. You can now consider me your master, right?”

Jonathan nodded earnestly, declaring, “Without you, Torrence and I would have perished long ago. Ms. Clarissa, your benevolence extends beyond mere tutelage; it is a testament to salvation.”

“Then, can you address me as Master Clarissa?”

Jonathan found it impossible to refuse Clarissa.

What right did he have to deny a dying person's wishes? Furthermore, Clarissa had imparted invaluable dragon magic to him and saved his life. This debt surpassed all bounds!

“Master Clarissa, I humbly bow before you!” Jonathan, gritting his teeth, mustered the strength to bow. The agony surged through his body, but he remained resolute. With reverence, Jonathan paid homage to Clarissa.

Clarissa's countenance turned solemn as she proclaimed, “Good, the Chosen One. I have ruled over the dragons for centuries, serving as a revered leader and commanding respect from all corners of the world. However, you are my only direct disciple, and as my spirit wanes, there is something I must entrust to you before my departure.”

“Master Clarissa, I am all ears,” Jonathan replied.

“One day, should you attain great power, I implore you to avenge the dragons' shame by challenging the Divine Emperor.”

Jonathan had anticipated Clarissa's request. It was her regret. She sought his assistance to make up for this.

Clarissa didn't really desire the Divine Emperor's demise. She merely yearned for Jonathan to redeem the dragons' honor as her disciple.

With solemn determination, Jonathan responded, “I shall honor your command.”

Clarissa's expression softened, and she continued, “Henceforth, Clarabelle shall be your junior. Now that you have mastered the ways of dragon magic, I entrust everything pertaining to Clarabelle to your care.”

“Master Clarissa, I will pass on all my knowledge to Clarabelle. However, in the future, I will return to the main world. Would you allow me to bring her along?” Jonathan asked respectfully.

Clarissa briefly hesitated as she pondered the question. “You wish to bring her to the main world?”

“That's right.”

Clarissa said, “Our realms encompass numerous enigmatic wonders, and various creatures inhabit distinct realms to maintain the balance of existence. The consequences of bringing a dragon to the main world remain uncertain. Nevertheless, given Moranta's unyielding malice toward dragons, they face insurmountable challenges, particularly in my absence. As the Chosen One, perhaps it would be in Clarabelle's best interest to follow you. Very well, you may bring her to the main world.”

“Thank you, Master Clarissa.”

A hint of tenderness appeared in Clarissa's eyes. “It is I who should thank you. All right, I don't have much time. Ask away if you have any other questions.”

Jonathan had nothing more to ask. His gaze fell upon Clarissa, and a wave of sadness wash over him.

“Master Clarissa, I have no other questions.”

Clarissa then turned to Torrence. “What about you?”

In his deep voice, Torrence asked, “Should Theos meet her demise?”

“Your question is rather peculiar. Why do you ask that?”

“Well, I don't have any particular reason. It's just that I find myself lost and perplexed. I don't even know which path to take next.”

“I don't know what you've been through, and I suspect I don't have much time left to listen. Theos Lynn is my greatest enemy, so from my perspective, she deserves death. However, I cannot answer your question because I don't know if she deserves it from your standpoint.”

“What about from the standpoint of the world?”

“From the standpoint of the world? The establishment of the Supreme Sect hasn't brought suffering but rather faith and stability. To the world, Theos has accomplished great things.”

Torrence found himself momentarily stunned by her words.

Clarissa continued, “In truth, you should not be burdened by such concerns. I, too, have been plagued by countless worries in the past. But now, at this stage, I find those worries laughable. We, mortals, are inconceivably insignificant in the grand scheme of things. We're simply tiny specks of dust. All our worries, in the face of the Heavenly Law, are nothing but a joke.”
