However, Norman didn’t understand how Thomas had drawn a distinct line between the two sums of money. Even though 750,000 was a lot of money, Thomas wasn’t drawn to it as he didn’t think that he deserved that money. Meanwhile, even though his salary wasn’t a lot, Thomas didn’t ask for an off-day nor did he skip work.
