Chapter 42. Trip to Italy
Italy is well known for its cultural and environmental tourist routes.
Ari and Hannah are interested in the Italian visual arts of western painting. Roman art was influenced by Greece and partly be taken as a descendant of ancient Greek painting. Roman painting does have its own unique characteristics. The only surviving Roman paintings are wall paintings, many from villas in Campania, in Southern Italy. Stanley promised to bring them there.
As for the cuisine.....Italy has the most traditional specialties like cheese, Hannah's favorite, cold cuts like prosciutto--it's Ari's fave, that goes with their favorite wine Moscato de Asti. To mention a few favorites.....Spaghetti Alla nerano, pizza fritte de Fernanda, lemon delight cake, and many more delicious dishes.
Ari booked a 1 stop flight via KLM from Manila to Rome, Italy. The couple decided to travel light since they will be traveling by air, train, and car for the entire scheduled trip with Stanley and Gracia.
