With a loud bang, Marcus slammed his glass on the table, “She’s mine! Don’t you dare lay a finger on her!”
He’s so drunk, with his emotions showing. Leonardo teased, “Yours? What do you mean? She’s your assistant, not your wife. If I pursue her and she’s willing, what business is it of yours?” Marcus knew very well that Cornelia was just his assistant and not his wife, and her personal feelings were none of his concern.
When she was injured trying to save him in the West Region, he had no right to be by her side. Now with the car accident, it’s her husband by her side, not him.
Leonardo says again, “Marc, if you want her, just take her regardless of her marital status. I don’t believe any woman can resist your charm.”
