Hence, I decided to swim alone.” Audrey lowered her head in guilt. “But I swam too far from the edge. In the end, I didn’t have the energy to swim back to shore.”

“So Shaun leaped into the pool to save you even though he didn’t know how to swim. If the guards hadn’t arrived on time, the two of you might have drowned.
