In My Desperate Time

Frances’ face suddenly turns gloomy.

He stares at me for a long time and speaks slowly. "I have already told you a long time ago. Mind your own business. Never ask about things that doesn’t concern you. Is it that difficult for you?"

Frances’ sudden indifference breaks my heart.
