Serena arched an eyebrow at Logan. His little outburst caused her to actually pay attention to him. Her mind had been wandering with her brother, wondering what he was really up to. “You don’t think it was a mistake to have the one-night stand that we did?” she asked.

“No,” Logan said firmly. “I think that would be saying that the twins were a mistake, and I don’t believe they are. I know you don’t believe they are.” Serena sighed, grabbing another glass of wine off a tray that a waitress carried by. She took a big gulp. She would never fault their existence or wish she didn’t have them.
