Kill Me, Heal Me

Belle Ye was back at the underground city.

After so many things she had been through, she returned here once again. Echo Xu was surprised by her. She was so weak that Echo was worried she would fall down any second. And this time, Belle’s face was badly wounded, without a decent treat, it might leave scars.

Her heath condition could not get any worse.

But fortunately, she was still breathing after the whole Lewis Qiu thing. On the other hand, Echo was grateful to Barry Mo for bringing Belle back. If Barry should help her like that every time, she would be even more grateful.

But it was only a one-time thing.

That special treatment was for Belle, and Belle only. Echo knew exactly who gave Barry the order to do that, so she dropped her work and took Belle directly to the hospital without asking her questions. After her wounds were taken care of, Belle refused to do any further check, no matter what Echo said.

Belle sat on a chair in the lobby while Echo was fetching her medication. It looked like her soul had long gone and left a breathing corpse, and for that anyone passing her by could not help glancing at her, but she was just sitting there with glazed-eyes.
