Leave Me Alone Mr Shaffer Novel

Chapter 269 Harmony Of The Ages

Isabella entered the house to find Seth already hard at work in the glass room of the living room. He had arrived just a bit earlier than her, but his efficiency was evident.

Brushing off her annoyance, she regretted the wasted time of the evening and quickly went to freshen up.

Twenty minutes later, she finished getting ready and returned, only to find him still in the same spot.

The room, encased in glass, was soundproof. He couldn’t be heard from outside while talking on the phone.

Isabella boiled water for her medicine and made coffee for Seth.

She brought the coffee to the door and knocked. He glanced at her and pressed the door open button, continuing his call.

After entering, she placed the coffee down and hesitated for a moment.

He ended the call and said indifferently, “Just state your business.”

Isabella smiled ingratiatingly and quickly pulled up a chair. “Nemotors is facing bankruptcy and restructuring. I’ve never dealt with this before. Any advice?”

Seth looked at her. “Do you know how much I charge for a lecture?”

His response left her speechless.

He withdrew his gaze, his tone dismissive. “There are books and files in the study. Find them yourself.”

Worried he might change his mind, Isabella hurried to the study.

Inside, she found a desk and books scattered everywhere as she turned on the light.

She slumped her shoulders. “Mr. Shaffer, do I have to read all of these?”

“You couldn’t grasp all this even if you read until your next life,” Seth’s voice came from behind.

Startled, Isabella turned to see that he had followed her.
