Wendy’s shop was a small convenient shop just like any others in the village. It was not big, but it had common daily necessities for the common folk, including the things Wilbur asked for.
She hurriedly opened the door, took two bottles of wine, a bunch of candles, and put them in the car.
Wilber smiled and said, “You should rest first, Ethan and I are going to do something. We will come to you tomorrow.
Wendy glanced at the unconscious Milton and nodded silently. She knew that it was impossible for her to participate in whatever they were doing next.
Wilbur and Ethan got into the car, and under Ethan’s guidance, they drove toward his parents’ grave.
At cemetery at the foot of the mountain, Wilbur and Ethan got out of the car and came to the grave of Ethan’s parents.
Wilbur helped Ethan light the candles, then knelt in front of the grave with him.
Ethan cried bitterly. Wilbur silently dragged Milton out of the car and threw him in front of the grave. He opened a bottle of wine and poured it on Milton’s face.

Milton was awakened and looked at the scene in front of him in a panic.
Wilbur handed the bottle to Ethan. He did not say anything and smashed it on Milton’s head right away.
Milton cried out in pain, knowing that things had taken a turn for the worse. He repeatedly begged for mercy.
However, at that moment, Ethan was completely overwhelmed with grief and anger. His emotions took over as he shouted, ” Pay for my parents’ life with yours.’
As he said that, Ethan took the broken wine bottle and stabbed Milton repeatedly.
After just a few strikes, Milton was gone and lay lifelessly on the ground.
Wilbur flicked his fingers, and a spark landed on Milton’s body, igniting the corpse.
Afterward, the two of them sat in silence, watching the candles burn, and drank wine until dawn.
By the next morning, Ethan was already drunk and unconscious, and only Milton’s ashes remained.
Wilbur bowed before the grave and said, “I will take good care of Ethan. Please rest in peace.”
After doing that, he got in the car with Ethan on his back and went back to the hotel in the city to sleep.
It was when Ethan woke up in the afternoon that Wilbur noticed his mood had improved. The two of them decided to go out for dinner.
There were very few people on the streets of Harvest County. There were only a few pedestrians on the road, and they all had the same expression on their faces. It seemed that everyone knew that something had happened in Harvest County.
While eating, Wilbur asked, “What do you plan to do in the future?”
“I don’t know,” Ethan shook his head.
Wilbur did not continue the conversation. After the meal, he drove Ethan to Wendy’s shop, Wendly got into the car, and the three of them drove around the county.
