Faye smiled all of a sudden. “Say, do you think my position in Cape would be affected if I were to agree to the marriage?”

Wilbur said at once, “That’s not what I meant! If you don’t want to do it, you shouldn’t be forced into it. Even if that’s what your father wants.”
“You don’t know what he’s like. He’s going to make a huge deal out of this if I say no. Nothing good will come out of this,” Faye sand, shaking her head.

Wilbur frowned. “Well, if you really don’t want to do that, you’ve got me to rely on. No one’s going to force you into anything as long as I’m around.”
“I knew you’re the best, Boss,” Faye smiled blissfully.
Wilbur blinked. It felt like he had walked right into that one
Just then, his phone rang with a call from Faron.
“Hello?”
“Hey! Where are you right now?”
“I’m home.”
“I’ve got nothing to do. Can I come over?”
“What do you mean you’ve got nothing to do?”
“Bro, it’s good enough that my name is involved in the case. I’ll be taking all of Nicholas’ credit if I stay there. Besides, the case is going to take at least half a year. I can’t stand that.”
Wilbur fell silent. “Wait for me at Sealake Island. I’ll be right there.”
“Sure thing, Bro! See you.”
Wilbur hung up the call and said to Faye, “Faron wants to meet me. I’m going out.”
“Okay. There are guards on duty around Sealake Island, and they all low you,” Baye said.
