Chapter 169
With a loud thump, Wilbur landed on bowed legs, creating a crater several meters deep into the ground.
He looked in front of him and lit a cigarette as he stood right there.
A few minutes later, Elsa Landed next to Wilbur. There was nowhere for the helicopter to land, so the pilot had no choice but to Go back
Elsa took in the sight of Wilbur puffing on his cigarette and the crater around him, and she let out a huff. “You’re really something else, man ”
“I’m alright,” Wilbur said calmly.
Elsa shrugged, not knowing what to say in response.
“Do you think the monster could have run somewhere else? Elsa asked worriedly.
Wilbur said, “He’s right here.”
Just then, the figure of someone running wildly appeared within their sight.

Wilbur frowned.
Elsa was shocked to find out that the wound on the monster had somehow healed.
The bl oody hole on its waist was gone, and so was the one on its chest. The monster radiated an overwhelming wave of spirit energy, making for a terrifying sight.
“F*cking hell,” Elsa cursed.
Wilbur stared the monster down as he continued to smoke from his cigarette.
The monster had noticed Wilbur and Elsa at last. It let out a howl and charged straight at them.
At the same time, a blood red cleaver appeared out of nowhere in the monster’s hand. It glowed with red spirit energy, swinging down on Wilbur’s head.
Wilbur let out a soft cry. The cigarette shot out of his lips like a bullet towards the monster.
The monster swung the cleaver down, and Wilbur’s spirit energy-charged cigarette was crushed into dust before disappearing as the monster continued charging over.
Wilbur scoffed, and a surge of powerful spirit energy rose from his body as he soared forward with a powerful punch.
His fist collided with the monster’s cleaver and let out a deafening rumble as spirit energy rolled out in crashing waves, billowing through the trees and serating leaves raining to the ground.
Both Wilbur and the monster were sent flying backward over ten meters from the collision, and they stared each other down
intently
“Are you alright?” Elsa asked worriedly,
Wilbur said, “Why did you come down if you were scared? This guy can’t fly. You would’ve been safe on the helicopter.”
“This is part of my duty! Was I supposed to let you face this alone? Elsa asked indignantly.
