Wilbur chuckled awkwardly. He felt like Faye had put him in a dilemma.
He would not have cared if it had been any other situation, but this was a complicated matter since it involved Fabian Yves.
However, he did promise to support Faye no matter what happened. She was his woman, after all.
Wilbur stood up and slowly walked toward the stage.
Everyone stared at Wilbur in shock. It was as though they were looking at an allen lifeform.
No one knew Wilbur. They all thought he was just a nobody.
‘How can someone like him be Faye’s boyfriend?”
“Why would Faye give up someone like Shawn to be with Wilbur? Is there something wrong with her?”

When she called Wilbur to the stage, Fabian and Shawn felt like it was a slap in their faces in front of everyone. They were utterly humiliated. There was no chance of them recovering from the embarrassment.
Both Shawn and Fabian looked like they were going to kill Wilbur.
Wilbur did not notice any of that. He walked straight to the stage and stood beside Faye.
She casually wrapped around his arm, then smiled and told everyone, “This is my boyfriend, Wilbur Penn. It is my pleasure to introduce him to all of you.”
Wilbur smiled and waved at everyone.
He did not need to say anything. His standing there alone made the situation very clear.
The crowd frowned and gossiped. It was a dire situation.
“The grudge between Faye and Fabian would not be that bad. She is still his daughter, after all.’
‘However, can Shawn tolerate Wilbur’s existence?”
“This is so embarrassing for him. How can he ever show his face in Seechertown again?
Shawn stood in front of another microphone that was right next to Wilbur and Faye.
Everyone instantly stopped talking. They wanted to see how Shawn would handle the crisis.
Shawn looked at Faye and Wilbur, then at Fabian, before finally turning to face the crowd with a smile.
He said, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is just a misunderstanding. Miss Yves and I had a small fight yesterday. I apologize for this mess.
Everyone could tell that he was making up an excuse. That was the only thing he could say at the moment.
