Chapter 35
Glancing at Leo, Savanna sneered, walked out of grave door and got into the car.
Leo sat on the driver’s seat and drove the car. They were driving back the Rose Villas. All of a sudden, Savanna covered her belly and screamed painfully “Leo , I’m not feeling well. Go to the hospital.”
Leo looked back at her and found that her face was pale as ghost. Frightened, he stepped hard on the gas pedal, driving to the hospital quickly.
After sending Savanna to the operating room, Leo was so panic that his hand holding the cigarette was shaking. He was afraid that he couldn’t bear the consequences, so he immediately called Brandon, “Mr. Cassel, Mrs. Cassel has a stomachache. I sent her to the hospital.”
“Is she serious?” Brandon asked.
“Yes, she is in the operating room now…”
Before he could finish his words, Brandon hung up the phone.
Twenty minutes later, Savanna walked out of the operating room with her hands on her belly. Her lips were as pale as her face, and she was so weak as if a gust of wind could blow her down. Leo hurried to hold her, and she shook off his hand.
The doctor followed her out, handed a bag of medicine to her and said, “You just had an operation. If you felt anything wrong, you must come to the hospital as soon as possible. Take this medicine on time, it will be helpful for the recovery of your uterus.”
Taking the medicine, she nodded to the doctor as her appreciation. Leo was frozen in place, totally ignored by Savanna. She went downstairs without giving him a glimpse.
Stunned for a moment, Leo hurried to catch up with her, asking her anxiously.
“Mrs. Cassel, what happened in the operation room?” he felt something unexpected happened during the operation because the doctor emphasized the recovery of the uterus’.
Although he didn’t know much about Gynecology, he knew that might mean Savanna had an abortion Leo suddenly felt himself go numb and his legs could not stand steadily.
Turning around, she looked at him in a trance, “yes, you are right. I just had an abortion. The baby… is gone.”

Without the baby, there was no reason for Brandon to make her stay.
Leo was stunned as if he had been hit by a thunder. He stood there, as if he had been nailed by the a spike, and his body could not move at all.
With a sneer, she said, “What a loyal dog, not even your child.”
“Mrs. Cassel, you are too… too cruel.” Leo grasped his hand into a fist. He didn’t expect that the baby was aborted under his watch. He was an idiot. When Mr. Cassel came, how could he tell him about it.
Leo was so anxious that cold sweat trickled down his back. Suddenly, he thought that Savanna might lie to him. He ran back to the doctor, asking, “did she abort her child?”
The doctor looked at him and nodded, confused, “yes, she doesn’t want a child. I did it for her.”
Leo’s face turned pale. His legs were so weak that he almost fell down.
“Are… Are you okay?” The doctor held him and asked with concern.
“Nothing.” Leo came out in a trance, and Savanna was gone.
When Brandon drove the car to the hospital, he didn’t see Leo and Savanna. He immediately called Leo.
Leo replied with a trembling voice, “Mr. Cassel, I’m going back to the Rose Villas.”
“Is she okay?”
“Sorry. I lost her, Mr. Cassel.” Leo ‘s voice was almost crying.
Brandon didn’t want to talk to him anymore, so he hung up the phone. Turing his car, he drove back to the Rose Villas like a rocket.
Standing under the eaves, Leo looked terrible and his lips were trembling.
“What happened? Tell me.”
Brandon passed him impatiently and walked into the villa.
Leo followed him silently, not knowing how to open his mouth. After hesitating for a long time, he did not say a word.
Brandon paused, turned to glance at Leo furiously, “do you want to quit?”
“Mr. Cassel, the baby is gone.”
Hearing that, Brandon stopped abruptly.
As if realizing something, he rushed forward, grabbed Leo by the collar and asked fiercely, “say it again.”
“Mrs…Mrs. Cassel did the abortion secretly.”
With a thump, Leo knelt down in front of Brandon and said, “Mr. Cassel, she said she had a stomachache. I saw her pale face, so I sent her to the hospital, into the operation room. When she came out, she said she had done the abortion. I asked the doctor, and the doctor said so…”
Anger overwhelming Brandon, and his blood seemed to be boiling. He suppressed the impulse to tear Leo up.
