Chapter 60
Brandon wore a mocking smile which soon vanished.
“Savanna, if I find him, you will be dead.”
After saying that, Brandon wanted to leave, but Savanna stopped him.
“Brandon, we’re divorced, and our child is dead. Let’s make a clean break with each other and move on.”
Savanna said calmly but Brandon felt heartbroken at her words. He felt somehow breathless. He took a step back and almost fell.
He slowly looked back and gave Savanna a cold gaze.
He replied with an expressionless face, “Savanna, don’t you believe that I can get over you?”
“I never say that, but I think we’d better not contact each other.”
The look in Savanna’s eyes suggested that she had made up her mind. Her tone was heartbreakingly indifferent.
Brandon took a deep look at her and walked out of the ward. In his anger, he bumped into Cain, who was holding a thermos mug in his hand. Cain was not surprised at Brandon’s presence. It seemed that everything was within Cain’s expectations.
Cain glanced at Brandon and was about to enter the ward. But when Cain was walking past Brandon, he was punched by Brandon in the face.
Cain, who was totally unprepared, fell out. His forehead hit the corner of the wall. Cain touched his wound, his fingertips stained with blood. He gritted his teeth and he chuckled. Then, Cain raised his fist and fought back without a second thought.
Both of them were good at fighting, and as time went by, they got injured.
In the end, Cain was beaten to the ground by Brandon because he was not as strong as Brandon. Brandon fiercely seized Cain by his throat. Cain could even hear the sound of bones cracking. Cain was in so much pain that he was on the verge of passing out.
Cain wanted to fight back if only he had enough strength.
Cain had been punched by Brandon for a while. Cain’s throat hurt badly, and he looked miserable.
When Savanna heard the noise, she was about to get up from the bed but was stopped by Mary who came back with water,
“Ms. Thompson, you just gave birth to a child. You shouldn’t leave the ward now. It’s not good for your recovery!”
Mary rushed out of the ward and shouted, “Mr. Cassel, stop fighting! Stop!”
Mary was frightened when she saw that Cain’s face was covered in blood. If they continued, Cain might die.

Ben and Bob arrived. Seeing this, both of them were frightened by Brandon’s fierce expression.
Brandon looked as if he were a savage beast. Ben and Bob were afraid that Brandon would kill Cain.
Ben stepped forward and grabbed Brandon’s hand, but was flung away by Brandon.
Brandon almost beat Ben as well.
Cain was dizzy. He covered his bloody face and got up from the ground. Just as he was about to fight back, a woman rushed out and grabbed his arm. She said anxiously and quickly.
“Cain, stop.”
Seeing that Cain was seriously injured, Liana burst into tears and cursed.
“Savanna’s not your wife. Why are you doing this for her?
“If she needs any help when giving birth, you are not the one to turn to.”
Seeing that Savanna stayed in the ward and said nothing about the situation, Liana hated her very much.
Liana wanted to check on Cain’s injuries, but Cain shouted at her, “Get away!” He refused to let her see his wounds. Liana cried even louder.
“Cain, you are my man and I’m pregnant with your child. You can’t treat me like this!”
Liana wanted Cain to be nicer to her by mentioning the child in her belly.Unexpectedly, Cain glanced at her flat belly and sneered more furiously.
“If I have to be responsible for you just because we have slept, I need to be responsible for a lot of women.”
“At the very least, we have slept. What about the woman inside? She hasn’t slept with you, and she
has given birth to someone else’s child. It’s none of your business!”
Cain didn’t want to argue with Liana and just shouted angrily, “Shut up.”
If he had not been entangled by Liana recently, perhaps, he and Savanna would have been together.
Cain hated himself for having no self-control and falling for Liana’s tricks.
He glared at Brandon.
“She…”
Brandon did not reply and Cain took it as acquiescence. Cain laughed aloud with tears of sadness rolling down his eyes.
He said sorrowfully, “You’ve found a woman like her to separate me and Savanna. How despicable!”
Liana was furious. She knew that she wasn’t a good woman, but she couldn’t stand it when others said it in public. Hearing the whispers from the side, Liana glanced at Brandon.
She then shouted at Cain, “What do you mean a woman like me? You bastard!”
Brandon gave Liana a cold gaze, and she immediately shut her mouth.
Brandon’s eyes were red, and his face was dark. He looked like a demon who killed mercilessly.
Brandon said to Cain, “Cain, I’ll spare you today. Let’s wait and see.”
Then, he left. Ben and Bob followed him.
Ben and Bob did not dare to say anything. Both of them were frightened by the cold look on Brandon’s face. Ben and Bob walked behind Brandon on an empty street. The cold wind blew on their faces.
Ben said carefully, “Maybe he is not dead but is hidden by Savanna.”
Bob said, “It’s possible. Brandon, I’ll help you find him if he’s alive.”
Importantly, just now, they had asked their people to search the hospital a few times but found nothing. The doctors and the nurses who had helped with Savanna’s delivery all said that it was a difficult delivery and the child was dead. It had taken so long that the child had died of hypoxia.
Bob asked someone to get him the dead baby. When Bob saw the bloody body, he almost vomited.
Bob did not dare to show it to Brandon. He was afraid that Brandon couldn’t stand it.
It was his beloved child. No one could endure the sadness of losing their beloved child. It was understandable that Brandon didn’t behave himself as usual.
