She was about to get into the car when Tyler's phone suddenly rang.
"Mister Tyler, I've already done what you've asked me to,” said his assistant respectfully from the other end of the phone.
“Good,” uttered Tyler lightly. After he hung up the phone, he turned to Avery, "I need to do something, so you head home first.”
Avery's face fell with disappointment. In the four years they had been together, this kind of thing happened too many times for her liking. Tyler would always leave after receiving a call.
