“Are you done?” He knocked on the door. The water running inside stopped.

“I can come in and help you…”

“No need!” Cordelia cried, “I can handle it!”

Marcus paused with a small smile. The sound of the running water tickled his heart. Once he thought of Cordelia’s plastered leg and that she had to struggle alone in the slippery bathtub as well as watch out for the tiled floor, he frowned. He should better go in!
