Linda had introduced them, and her qualifications were impressive. The Bayers were pleased with her, and they were ready for her to become the future head of the household.

As for Graham, it seemed he was simply following his parents’ wishes. He had never been in a relationship before, and she hadn’t been in one since her memory loss. She had no knowledge of her past before the amnesia. Nobody wanted to tell her, and so she had ended up with Graham.

He seemed like a great match for marriage. He was hardworking, highly capable, came from a prestigious background, and was exceptionally handsome.

Yet, she always felt that something was missing between them.
