Nobody had taught Harvey to be wary of those closest to him.

Jodie grinned and departed, arranging for the doctors to clean up the mess.

As usual, Harvey fought with all his might, only to find himself restrained on the bed, tranquilizer coursing through his veins.

Before long, his eyes closed, and he drifted into a stupor.

During these episodes, fragments from his past would unfailingly flash in his mind.

From a young age, Harvey had unknowingly distanced himself from his sister. Perhaps it was his extroverted facade and cold inner world. Outwardly friendly, he kept his heart guarded.

His artistic expressions swung between two extremes, making him question if he might be schizophrenic. He had even consulted a doctor.

Little did he anticipate it would become Jodie’s tool…

She had bribed the doctor, fabricating a report of his mental illness and successfully excluding him from the Newhouse Group’s heirs.

A searing headache gripped him, images hazy and disjointed. The tranquilizer seemed to lose its effect after being administered so many times.
