As soon as the car stopped, Mrs. Lewis came over, smiling as she opened the door.

“Sonny!” Her face lit up as she reached in to lift him out of the car.

“Liberty, welcome back,” Mrs. Lewis said, still beaming as she hugged Sonny close.

She held his hand as they walked toward the house.
