"You booked the entire park at this hour. Are we going on a night tour?" Kathryn asked with a smile.

She decided to leave the bouquet of flowers in the car, thinking it would just get in the way.

Pedro closed the car door, took her hand, and led her toward the park entrance.

As they approached, the security captain stepped forward and reported, "Mr. Fang, the park is completely empty now. We've cleared the square as well. Everything is secure."

"Thank you," Pedro said sincerely.

"It's no trouble at all," the captain replied. After all, it was their job.

At this late hour, the park was nearly deserted. Pedro had rented out a large open square just for tonight's fireworks display. Everything had been approved in

advance, so the only thing left was to ensure the area remained clear.
