The night crept away while the day arrived. It was the start of another day.

Zachary woke up. Before he opened his eyes, he turned to his side on instinct and stretched his long arms. His eyes snapped open when he did not manage to hug a soft body. His side was empty, and Serenity was nowhere to be seen.
