Mate to a king

Chapter 12

James.

The sight in-front of me made me want to wrap my mate in my arms.

Her flawless skin, paled by every whip mark that could possibly fit on that petite body of hers, the scars embedded on her long, flawless legs.

I wanted to howl in pain, whilst cringing at the same time. Her long brown hair, now cut at a strange angle, was matted to the time where you couldn't see her face. The growl that rippled out of my throats is what surprised me the most however. A growl so fierce half the world of the werewolf population probably heard it. My poor mate, almost lifeless.

The guard that was guarding her cell whimpered but ran to 'protect' her. Oh hunny, she belongs to me, no one needs to protect her from her own loving mate. Who, oh yeah, who hasn't seen her in around a year too.

I felt my wolf ripping at the surface to be let out, he wanted to be the one who ripped those guards into pieces mercilessly.I gladly let him, he was my best bet at saving Bloom. That was the last I could remember before I blacked out completely. My wolf wanted blood, rogue blood!
