After another 20 minutes or so, Jonah phoned Chloe again. “Chloe, you… you… you idiot!” he swore as soon as Chloe answered the phone.

Chloe panicked. “What are you talking about? H-How could you say that I’m an idiot?”

At once, Jonah flew into a rage. “Do you know who the person surnamed Manning is? Let me tell you this—he is the most famous attorney in Eastcliff, and he has practiced law for so many years without ever losing a lawsuit.
