Joshua did not know where he wanted to go. It was already late at night, so going to the office was out of the question, and Sovereign Heights did not appeal to him either.
He drove aimlessly, pressing the gas pedal, gripping the steering wheel, and staring ahead, but his thoughts drifted away.
If Joshua had not received a call from Chyler, he would not have known how long he had driven.
He responded in his usual cold tone.””What’s the matter?”
“Can you come and deal with your soon-to-be-divorced wife? You have half an hour to come here and
take her away, or I’ll call the police.” Chyler’s words were colder than usual. Seeing Cynthia showing up at his door uninvited angered him.
Joshua frowned slightly, not quite understanding what Chyler was saying.
Call the police? Take her away?
“Did you hear me?” Chyler sounded fiercer than usual.

Joshua remained calm, and even his tone only held a hint of confusion. “Cynthia is at your place?
Chyler, on the other end of the phone, remained silent.
Why would he ask Joshua to pick Cynthia up if she was not with him?
He was not out of his mind!
“What do you think?!”
After saying this, Chyler decisively hung up the phone.
At the intersection, Joshua turned the car in a different direction and pressed down on the gas pedal, heading toward Chyler’s place.
After finishing the call on the balcony upstairs, Chyler looked down and saw the eight bodyguards that Cynthia had knocked down.
He rubbed his temples.
How could this woman be so invincible? How could so many bodyguards be helpless against her?
Cynthia stood downstairs, looking up at the people on the balcony, and uttered only one sentence. “Hand over Ellora.”
When she returned home, Cynthia found the door had been forced open, and Ellora was nowhere to be found. Almost instantly, she had a hunch that Chyler was behind it.
“Mrs. Neal, we can do it the easy way or the hard way. Do you want me to show you my marriage certificate with Ellora and let you know who she truly belongs to?” Chyler’s patience had reached its limit.
“Let Ellora out. I need to confirm her safety.” Cynthia was genuinely worried.
Ellora could not stand Chyler, and Cynthia was afraid that Chyler would forcefully take Ellora and cause her harm. Besides, Ellora was pregnant.
Chyler completely ignored her. After all, it was his own home. “Why should I listen to you? Previously at the hospital, I did not fight you because you are a woman. But if you don’t know your place, it’s your own fault.”
“I’ll count to three. Release Ellora.” Cynthia’s concern for Ellora was her priority now.
Ellora was not answering her calls, and Cynthia could not contact her. If it were not for the phone’s GPS showing Ellora was here, she would not have known what to do.
