Chapter 180
1/2
If it were not for Samantha’s phone call, Cynthia would not have rushed over, and Ellora would have likely been dragged into the operating room.
Samantha’s smile reached her eyes as she replied, “You’re welcome.”
Cynthia nodded slightly, took Ellora’s hand, and walked past Chyler and Joshua toward the exit.
Just then, Joshua grabbed her arm.
“Wait.”
Cynthia frowned. Her initial reaction was that Joshua Intended to help Chyler stop her and Ellora, so she looked at him coldly.
“Take the car. Use it to pick me up at the office the day after tomorrow. I’ll have time in the afternoon to go through with the divorce.” Joshua tossed the car keys to her, his expression as Indifferent as usual.
Cynthia froze but quickly responded, “Okay.”

She got in the car with the keys and had Ellora sit in the backseat. Throughout the entire process, Chyler did not even have a chance to speak. It was only after Cynthia drove the car away from the hospital that he exploded at Joshua.
“Are you still holding a grudge from yesterday morning when I let Cynthia get into Mitchell’s car?”
“What do you mean?” Joshua was somewhat confused by his question.
“Ellora is my wife. Is it appropriate for you to let Cynthia take her away?” Chyler was truly infuriated. He had no idea what was going on in this person’s head.
Hearing him say that, Joshua said, “I let Cynthia take Ellora away for your own good.”
Chyler could not help but laugh in anger. “Why don’t you explain how it’s for my own good?”
“If you forcefully abort the child in Ellora’s womb, she will resent you for the rest of her life. You like her, don’t you?” Joshua rarely reasoned with him but still did.
Those last few words made Chyler’s body stiffen.
Joshua had not forgotten the incident when Chyler sprayed perfume on himself and smudged lipstick on his collar in the private room.
If he did not like Ellora, he would not have done such a stu pid thing.
“I don’t understand what you’re saying.” Chyler looked away.
“No matter whose child is in Ellora’s womb, she is the mother of the child. Even if it’s for her own good, you should discuss it with her instead of making decisions for her,” Joshua reminded him.
“Why are you so annoying today?” Chyler furrowed his brow with a hint of displeasure. “You’re quick to point out my mistakes, but what about your own wrongdoing in divorcing Cynthia for your ex-lover?”
Joshua remained silent.
“Aren’t you afraid that Cynthia will resent you for the rest of her life?”
“I don’t like her.”
