Michelle was still sulking, knowing that she was in the wrong. However, the thought of losing all the efforts she had previously put in because of Cynthia made her feel upset. After a while, she finally asked, “Will Uncle Yates accept me again after this?
Mandy looked at her for a while but did not say anything. She knew what kind of person Jonathan was, and based on what had happened with Michelle, it seemed unlikely she would have another chance to be accepted.
“Rein in your behavior first. One wrong step can lead to a total loss. I hope you understand this,” Mandy finally spoke after a long pause
Michelle held her anger inside.
In the following days, Cynthia shuttled back and forth between the Yates Group and Arch International Group. Although Moe took care of most of the work, as the company’s owner, there were still things that Cynthia had to handle.
As for Joshua, he had not appeared again after their last encounter at the shooting club. It was as if he truly kept his promise not to disturb her until he could surpass her.
In the blink of an eye, the 10th arrived.

It was a Saturday, and Shirley, Cynthia, and Jonathan were all present.
Calculating the time, Jonathan led Cynthia and the others toward the reserved restaurant.
On the way, Jonathan was still nervous. After considering it for a while, he said, “If you have any second thoughts and don’t want to go, you can tell me, and we can reschedule.”
“It’s alright,” Cynthia replied calmly, as she always did.
Upon hearing Cynthia’s words, Jonathan obediently sat down. He was extremely nervous, afraid that Cynthia might be
mhappy later. However, he really hoped to gain Cynthia’s support.
Since Katherine’s passing, this family had not experienced warmth and joy for a long, long time.
At exactly ten thirty in the moming, Cynthia and her family arrived at the restaurant and were led to a private room by the waiter. When they arrived, Mandy was already there.
She also did not want to leave a bad impression on Cynthia, so she came early to wait
As the door opened, Cynthia saw the person inside.
It had been over two years since she had truly and completely seen this person.
“Cyn, Shirley, come sit here. Let me introduce you, this is Mandy Quinn,” Jonathan spoke, warmly inviting them.
“This is Cyn…” Jonathan continued to introduce.
In the gap between Jonathan’s words, Cynthia interjected calmly, “Not Cyn, it’s Cynthia.”
