Cynthia did not know if Katherine hated Old Man Addams, but she knew Katherine had no regrets when she left.
Old Man Addams let out a long sigh as if releasing all the pent-up emotions from the past two years in this conversation.
“Old Man Yates might arrange a marriage for you later. If you need help, just call me,” Old Man Addams did not want to dwell on such heavy topics and changed the subject.
“Okay,” Cynthia agreed. Nonetheless, she was not worried about such matters.
She had no leverage in Old Man Yates’s hands and did not need marriage to create value.
No one could force her into a marriage, and she would not pursue one.

“Regardless of anything, the Addams family will always support you. You just need to be yourself,” Old Man Addams said with great seriousness. He had regretted his actions toward his daughter in the past, and now he could not let his granddaughter’s happiness slip away.

She was unaware that Kendrick and Joshua were getting drunk and becoming like sworn brothers on the other side.
Yoel and Lionel sat inside the private room, afraid to move. Their gazes shifted back and forth between the two people sitting closely on the couch, and their hearts were filled with tension.
“Joshua, you disappointed my beloved Cyn, and I’m not happy about it. But you’re good-looking, and Cyn likes your type,” Kendrick rarely got drunk, but this time he stumbled in front of Josh
Joshua did not say much.
Yoel and Lionel were too scared to comment on anything.
“Tell me honestly, do you like Cyn?” Kendrick’s face turned red, and he was already intoxicated.
