Chapter 559
Joshua’s situation needed to be resolved.
II Felix wanted to take him back, Cynthia would have to take them to the airport. If Felix wanted to leave him in Nexurla, she would have to go to Joshua’s house and park some of his personal belongings.
In the study, Cynthia felt a bit nervous as she called Felix. She did not know if Felix would accept Joshua’s current condition.
The phone connected, and Felix’s voice came through.
Cynthia did not beat around the bush and said, “Uncle Felix, are you available? I want to talk to you about Joshua’s situation.”
“I’m available. Go ahead Felix’s voice was soft and war
“I brought Joshua from Sean’s place to my house last night. He’s physically fine, but…” Cynthia said
The words that followed were difficult to say
After all, amnesia combined with m ental regression was no small

After hearing that Joshua was physically fine, Felix felt a sense of relief, and his tone noticeably lightened. “It’s alright, just tell me what you need to. As long as he’s alive, 1 can accept anything”
“He has amnesia.” Cynthia pursed her lips.
Felix was sitting in the President’s office at the Neal Group. When he heard that, his eyebrows raised slightly, and he blurted out his concern as a father, “Are you sure he’s not pretending?
Given Joshua’s personality, he might have been just putting on an act.
“I’m sure.” Cynthia glanced outside the study toward the living room, where Joshua was reading a storybook on the sofa. Then, she continued, “In addition to that, Sean mentioned that his me ntal state has regressed to that of a five-year-old child.
“Anything else?” Felix remained extremely calm.
“That’s it, just these two things,” Cynthia replied.
“Cynthia”
“Yes?”
“Don’t be so nervous. As long as he hasn’t fully lost his m ental capacity, it’s a minor issue.” Felix truly felt relieved.
In Felix’s view, since Sean allowed Cynthia to tale Joshua away, it meant that the subsequent progress would rely on Joshua’s own recovery. In that case, it was only a matter of memory and m ental issues. As long as he was not m entally disabled, Felix could easily decrive Daphne and Old Man Neal without much worry.
Cynthia was at a loss for words.
How should she respond to that?
“Before Joshua recovers, we might need to trouble you to take care of him. After all, Old Man Neal is getting old, and it’s better to spare him from unnecessary worries,” Felix said.
Cynthia pursed her lips and reluctantly agreed, “Alright.”.
Felix considered all the possibilities and continued, “If you’re busy, you can leave him with Yoel. No need to spoil him.””
“His m ental state is that of a five-year-old,” Cynthila emphasized.
