Lin Wen Xin’s house is situated near a high-end mall so she was able to get there in less than 10 minutes.

She stopped by a store that specialises in selling exquisite vases. Since her house is rather empty at the moment, she thought that a vase would be a good addition to decorate her place.

Lin Wen Xin walked around the store and finally found one that suited her taste. She turned to the sales assistant and asked politely, “Could you please wrap this up for me?”

“Wait, I want that!” A middle-aged lady demanded loudly.

Caught by surprise, Lin Wen Xin went over to the counter where this lady is now at, and spoke to her in a polite tone.

“Hello Madam, I believe there is some misunderstanding. I have already told the sales assistant that I would like to have this vase.”

The lady simply stared at Lin Wen Xin with disdain and spoke in an arrogant tone, “The first to pay will be the first to get it.” She then threw her card over to the sales assistant, “Swipe it!”

Lin Wen Xin felt that it is completely pointless to argue with someone who is unreasonable by nature. Also, it was really unprofessional of the sales assistant to condone such a behaviour.

If this lady really wants this item and spoke to Lin Wen Xin about it nicely, she would have given it to her without any hesitation. After all, she is still reasonable person.

But ‘snatching’ it away from her is simply not right at all!
