Rebecca had been searching information in the library the whole afternoon and thus lost track of time.

It was not until about 7 p.m.

when there was almost no one left in the library that she found it was already late.

Rebecca went back home immediately with a few books in her arms.

In fact, how could she regard Skyline No.1 as home? Even if it was a home, it was Adam and Linda's home, while for her, it was just a temporary shelter.

It was almost 7.30 p.m. when Rebecca got to the the apartment in Skyline No.1 from the library.

She entered the password and opened the door.

What greeted her was nothing but darkness, and only the huge TV screen hanging on the wall was on.

"Rebecca, you're back!"

Rebecca followed the voice and looked over, only to see Adam holding Linda in his arms.

However, Rebecca opened the shoe cabinet and found that her slippers were nowhere to be seen.

She remembered that there were two pairs in the morning, one women's and one men's.
