Rosalie snapped back to her senses and felt even uneasier as she looked at the two little fellas before her. She lowered her gaze as she barely suppressed the emotions in her heart. She smiled and shook her head at them. 

“Nothing much. My hand slipped and I broke a bowl. Don‘t come in, okay? There are pieces of broken glass everywhere.” When she was done, she nonchalantly squatted down to clean up the mess. The storm in her heart was still raging, causing her to zone out while she was picking up glass pieces. Byron stood behind the three little ones.
